It’s always better to use natural methods for whitening (and taking care) of our teeth. I started using natural toothpaste. And later on this year I started adding a bit of bicarbonate of soda every 3 days to my toothpaste in the morning..

I didn’t know that too much fluoride could cause skeletal fluorosis. I will be careful.

    Hellllo!

I am loving this article. I have struggled with white teeth for several years now. Why? That blasted red wine 🙁 It tastes so good but runs such a tole on my teeth. I have recently tried a few things, one being whitening strips… total no go.. it hurt the nerves in my teeth I couldn’t even keep them on for the 30 minutes they needed to be on. I then tried the whole baking soda in water. My god, does that taste bad or what?!

I have finally landed on a charcoal tooth brush, and crest whitening tooth paste. However, these go completely against what you’ve suggested in your article. I have tried natural tooth pastes and find that they do little to nothing on my yellow teeth. I do agree with not brushing too hard. I had that issue awhile ago and my dentist said the exact same thing, “you’re causing your gums to recede”.

Do you have a specific brand that you and your family use that works well? I would be inclined to try anything at this point.

    Talk soon!
